The FaceShop Basic version only allows morphing using DAZ Michael 3 and Victoria 4 figures, while FaceShop Pro allows the importing of any face mesh OBJ file. This feature allows for additional creativity when developing new characters and is especially useful when recreating a child’s likeness.

With FaceShop you only need one photographic reference, unlike Poser’s Face Room, which requires a portrait depicting both front and side views. Although it is possible in FaceShop to create a satisfactory finished model from a three-fourth portrait using the “mirror” feature, a straight-on-portrait gives the best results.

For this article I am reviewing the Professional version. In addition to FaceShop Pro, I utilized two additional software programs: Adobe Photoshop CS3 and e frontier’s Poser 6. Although I used Photoshop for pre-prepping the photograph for my FaceShop Pro example, an Image Editor is not necessary to utilize the program.

The first step in working with either version of FaceShop is to find the perfect image. FaceShop imports the following file formats: JPEG, TIF, GIF, BMP or PCX. The specifications for the reference photograph that I used was 273 x 336 pixels at 72 dpi. Larger images can be used as the reference image, however images of 800 pixels x 800 pixels, or less, work extremely well. I highly recommend using a portrait (photograph or artwork) with a full frontal view of the face. The �?mirror image’ function works well for minor imperfections, however, starting with a near perfect image creates a final image with less need for post work of the final output image.

Watermark Master enables processing files without opening the main application and showing GUI. For that one can set parameters of processing for some folder via Windows Explorer and afterwards just add (upload) the necessary files to the folder - Watermark Master will singly process them as they are added. This functionality can be used for encoding files on server via web interface, and so it may be eminently helpful to webmasters.

Video Editing.
Watermark Master includes broad set of filters (including Deinterlace) for editing video and images files, 6 resampling algorithms, color adjustment feature, ability to flip, rotate, sharpen or soften image and many others.
The application enables to define sections of a media file that should be added to the output file or, on the contrary, removed. When processing a great number of files, the sections can be defined the same for all source files or individually for each of them. The number of sections is not limited. The output file(s) can be previewed before encoding.
Crop feature can be applied in order to process only the selected area of the source file frame and cut off the rest of it (can be used, for example, for trimming black stripes along the edges of videos and images). When processing a great number of files, Crop can be set in the same way for all source files or individually for each of them.

Montage Feature
Watermark Master includes the Montage feature that allows to add video scenes, add images as scenes, replace audio stream of the processed file with another one, etc. By means of this feature one can create video files of any complexity. Besides it enables to process more than one file at once according to the same montage scheme: say, if you have a hundred files and want to add some video scene to the beginning of each of them, you'll have to spend just a few clicks for that!

Kaspersky Patch 09/04/2009

This patch makes all the blocked Kaspersky licenses to work! Of the black list to white list, and also protects them from the "black list": file "black.lst", which is updated from Kaspersky Labs is no longer a problem!

How to install:
1. Before applying the patch go to Kaspersky in the Settings -> Service and disable self-defense.
2. Remove all the keys to Kaspersky.
3. Exit from Kaspersky (right-click the icon in the tray - output).
4. Copy the patch to a folder, Kaspersky Lab (eg "x: Program Files Kaspersky Lab Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0, or x: Program Files Kaspersky Lab Kaspersky Anti Virus 7.0"). Only 7 versions Kasper, on the 8-th versions, the patch does not work!
5. Click "Clean".
6. Then click on "Patch Kaspersky Internet Security" or "Kaspersky Anti-Virus" (depends on which version is installed on your computer, KIS or KAV).
7. Jump out of the patch, open Casper, put self-defense and the new key is included with the patch (you can have a block, the main thing that did not come out of its life).
8. When injected Kaspersky will squeal that this trojan, do not be afraid, all the patches of this kind registered in the list of viruses!
